Cashews: How to Check for bugs
Cashews are sometimes infested with insects and must be checked.
How to check cashews:
Take a sampling of ten per cent of the cashews. Cut them in half, lengthwise. Look for infestation or signs of nibbling. If nothing is found in the ten per cent, the rest of the cashews may be eaten, without checking.
If infestation is found—all of the cashews must be checked.
